AV Security Essentials Removal
The AV Security Essentials virus was recently discovered in mass distribution and is cleverly disguised and made to look like a standard security software program.
What is AV Security Essentials?
There are many fake anti-virus programs out there, all designed to trick you into purchasing something or handing out a credit card number. AV Security Essentials is of no exception. This program loads onto your computer screen, looking just like a Windows operating system anti-virus software. It then scans over the hard drive, informs you of viruses currently installed on the computer and, because of the outdated software, it requires you to download and purchase the updated system information in order to remove the viruses from the computer. This is all an entire scam. There are no viruses (at least these viruses are not real), and the software you are buying isn’t anything at all. It is just designed to sell you a fake program that slowly takes over your computer and can cause serious harm to it. Because you are actually agreeing to the service and doing it willfully, there is are limited laws that the virus is breaking, just because you are being billed for what you agreed to. Of course, it is also false advertising, as the software ends up installing itself further onto the hard drive, making it difficult to remove or to use the computer properly.

How to Remove the AV Security Essentials Virus?
Once the AV Security Essentials virus hard drive is installed on the computer it does become incredibly difficult to use the hard drive and anything else on the system. This is because AV Security Essentials virus installs onto the registry (among other places on the had drive). When this happens, programs and hardware begin to not function correctly, due to the fact that all hardware and software on the computer have important files on the system registry, which informs the computer where to locate the files and how to use the software/hardware. Once these files are corrupt, your computer finds it incredibly difficult to locate the files and even run the program. When this occurs, you need to follow very specific methods for deleting the AV Security Essentials virus, as if one step is not performed correctly, the hard drive and software fails to work even further, because deleting the wrong file out of the registry is often catastrophic to the functionality of the computer system. When this occurs, your only other method for correcting the hard drive is to have it completely wiped clean and the operating system reinstalled.
