BitCryptor Virus – Removal Instructions
BitCryptor is a ransomware computer virus that could infect your windows PC. The BitCryptor virus is a fairly recent finding, having only been discovered and identified in May of 2015. BitCryptor seems to be a rethought and reprogrammed version of an older computer virus named Torrentlocker, newly upgraded to include a few extra and nasty features. The BitCryptor virus spreads through e-mail. Usually the virus is disguised as an important attachment on a piece of spam e-mail that will install itself on your system when you open it and make your life a lot harder until you can clean it from your computer.
As always, be very wary of any e-mail from an unknown address, especially e-mail with files attached. Once the BitCryptor virus takes hold of your computer, it spreads quickly through all the files on your computer and all of your web browsers and you will have to deal with it immediately before you can do any more work on your PC. BitCryptor is an invasive and annoying virus. Protect yourself from it by never opening attachments from unknown sources.
BitCryptor is a virus that works by taking your computer hostage. The BitCryptor virus does this by encrypting the files on your computer so that you cannot use them. It also infects all of your web browsers so you cannot use the internet. The thing that separates BitCryptor from previous ransom viruses is that it infects files all across your network, not just on your local hard drives. If you try to use any of your infected files or web browsers, you will be given a message telling you that you have to pay the criminals who sent you the BitCryptor virus in order for them to give you a key that will disinfect your computer.
Of course, if you pay these people what they want, you will likely not get a key and merely lose your money and the use of your computer. Do not waste your money trying to negotiate with cyber criminals. Doing so only encourages them and makes the problem worse for everybody. The BitCryptor virus spreads fast and hits hard, so watch out for any signs of infection and stay alert.
