Threat Finder Virus – Removal Instructions
The Threat Finder Virus is a malicious form of ransomware that inhibits you from using your computer as you normally would. On any browser that you are using, The Threat Finder Virus interferes with what you are doing by opening up a lock screen and sending you a warning in the form of a security threat. The purpose of this warning is to scare you into believing that you have violated some law or committed a serious crime. In order to make it go away and avoid jail time, it tells you that you have to pay a fine, which is usually between 200 and 500 dollars. However, you cannot regain complete control over your system by paying the fine or restarting the computer.
The Threat Finder Virus is different from other forms of ransomware because it collects your personal data, including your computer’s IP address, history and browsing activity. The collected data is displayed next to the alleged crime you have committed. The violations connected with the Threat Finder Virus can be anything from child pornography to the illegal distribution of copyrighted content.
