Windows Firewall Constructor Virus
While using your Windows computer, you may unexpectedly see a pop up window appear on the screen titled Windows Firewall Constructor. This program begins to scan the hard drive for what it states as viruses and other malware files. As it scans, it detects a rather alarming amount of infected files on the computer, many of which are listed right on your computer screen. At the completion of the scan, the program unfortunately tells you that, in order to remove the viruses, you need to upgrade the computer. Without the upgrade, it just isn’t possible to delete the content from the computer, and in order to upgrade the software, you need to purchase the new version. It isn’t that expensive, plus having a functioning computer is rather important, so you input your credit card information, wait for the software to upgrade, and eventually remove the viruses. Problem with all of this is that it is fake. The Windows Firewall Constructorsoftware is actually a virus, moonlighting as an antivirus program, all while it corrupts the computer.

With the Windows Firewall Constructor virus on the computer, files begin to become infected and, eventually, shut down and stop working.
